Using an extended warranty claim

Well, you have purchased a product and something has gone wrong. Don't worry. It's now up to your selling dealer to help you by using an extended warranty claim. When making an extended warranty claim, be sure to have all the facts written down such as what is wrong, when did it happen and of course you bill of sale for both the policy and the product.

Most companies will have you sign a repair order for the repair to your product. This is normal when submitting an extended warranty claim. The repair facility needs to document the work required, so they can be reimbursed from the manufacturer of the product. Their will be no estimate charges for this type of repair, but in some instances there might be some deductible charges that the customer will have to pay.

When picking up your product, you will not receive the old parts back like you would a regular repair. These parts belong to the manufacturer of the product. Ensure that all the repairs are documented on the extended warranty claim as to possible further repairs required on your product.
